Thurso Street is ideally situated in the middle of Glasgow’s West End, across from Glasgow University campus, alongside the River Kelvin and beside the international renowned Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum. With 400 students in residence every year, we have a variety of rooms available for students. En-suite rooms for students that enjoy flatmates and where the kitchen and living room is shared. Studios for students that prefer a bit more privacy and independence, and prefer to live alone. The expansive common room has a social feel to it and you can enjoy a game of ping-pong or foosball with friends or just relax on the comfortable sofa, watching some television. The study space is the perfect stop for students needing to concentrate on studies away from their room’s study desk.
Thurso Street is located in Glasgow’s loveliest and individual districts, with bakeries, bookshops, pubs, museums, greenery, independent retailers, spectacular views of the river – all of this in the West End. Important information. Please be aware that we will be undertaking works to the exterior facade of Thurso Street during the 2021/22 academic year. These works will be carried out Monday to Friday between 9am-5pm and may cause some noise disruption during these times.
